Our Teachers
Ms. Soye
Piano Teacher / Director
Soye majored in Piano in Korea. With 15 years of teaching experience in Korea, Canada, US and Australia, she makes an effort to teach the value of diversity through music. Soye also studied Performing Arts Administration at New York University in US, working for several orchestras and art centres (management).
Ms. Regan
Flute Teacher ( Thursday / Friday )
Regan has been playing the flute for almost 20 years. She completed her AMusA in 2016 and Bachelor of Music (Honours) / Bachelor of Education (Secondary) at the University of New South Wales in 2017. Regan has played with a number of university and community ensembles, and has worked in music administration in a school context. Regan has been flute teaching since 2014, and has experience teaching one-on-one lessons as well as small groups. She strives to cater lessons for each student's needs and interests, and works to make the flute engaging and relevant.
Ms. Viola
Violin Teacher ( Monday / Saturday )
Viola received her Master’s Degree in Violin Performance with Distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in 2020 and Bachelor of Music from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University in 2018, where she received the J.C. Van Hulsteyn Award in Strings. Viola was one of the finalists in the 1st Alice and Leonora Schoenfeld International String Competition, and she performed a solo recital in the Burgos Music Festival. She volunteered at local elementary schools in Baltimore during her studies and taught in Hong Kong and Singapore, where she gained various teaching experiences with students from a diverse background and ages. She is a firm believer that music education is essential for young children to develop sensitivity, creativity and imagination through persistence, and aims to cultivate musical interest among young musicians.
